Introduction

Welcome to your skatepark assessment page! American Ramp Company is working alongside Bow Engineering & Development, Inc. for the County of Kauai to design and develop a new skatepark to be located at Kapa’a Town Park. The goal of this page is for you to help us determine specific areas in need of improvement and possible solutions for renovation and/or replacement of your skatepark. The skatepark will remain at the same location and occupy the exact footprint (approx. 6,000 sf) and will have raised obstacles just like it did before. Once we receive your survey results a conceptual design will be created and uploaded on this page for additional feedback.

Instructions

First step is for you to take the brief survey below and hit submit. Please only do this once per person. If you’re not sure what a given feature looks like, you can scroll through the images to the right, and hover over them to see the what they are called. Following the survey, you will find an aerial of your skatepark with highlighted areas throughout the park that go over each obstacle/feature. The second step in the survey process is to click on each obstacle to reveal the name and picture of the feature, then click on the “Comment” button to open a brief form. Please fill one out for each of the six features highlighted throughout the skatepark to provide us with your feedback.

Please make sure that you fill out both the survey and the six features questions that are highlighted in the aerial image below.

Step One: Complete the following survey (one per rider).

Step Two: Click on each of the white circles below to fill out a form for the respective feature.

These images are for example only.
